New Forest for Ukraine is a local charity with international impact a group of like-minded volunteers living in the New Forest. We are united by our determination to help the millions of people displaced by the war in Ukraine, and our belief that together we can make a difference. We focus on collecting and delivering the latest required aid directly to Ukrainian refugees still in Ukraine, and we do so quickly and efficiently.

Thank you to the people who responded to my appeal in church for this organisation. I have been a volunteer since it started, so I am passionate about the charity, so here is a little history of the organisation written by Mandy Haynes, Charity lead for NFFU.
New Forest for Ukraine is an entirely volunteer led charity dedicated to providing humanitarian aid to those affected by the war in Ukraine. Since 2022, we have delivered hundreds of tonnes of humanitarian aid thanks to the generosity of our local community and supporters. We collect, sort and dispatch essential items including food, toiletries, clothing, bedding, medical supplies, mobility equipment, generators and other much-needed humanitarian aid. Working with 10 trusted and vetted partner organisations across Ukraine, we ensure every shipment reaches the communities where it is most needed;- safely, efficiently and with maximum impact. Although many of the items we send are donated, the cost of transporting and distributing this aid is significant.
I, along with many other volunteers are taking part in the New Forest Marathon on September 13th. I will be doing the 5k Woodland Walk so if anyone would like to sponsor me for a small amount I would be grateful.
