Shoe Boxes

Shoeboxes 2025  

139 Boxes were sent on their way on 25th November after Rev Jon had Blessed them on the 23rd  at the 9.30 service. 41 came from Arnewood School. (See below).  

On Thursday 13th November Rev Jon visited The Arnewood School where he met with  the Headteacher, Jamie Anderson followed by a tour of the school. This culminated in the  Library where he met some students busily finishing off Shoe Boxes. Jon blessed them  with a short prayer. On Friday morning the boxes were collected from school and  delivered to church. In total 41 boxes were donated. Thanks to Wendy and Roger for  unloading and stacking them! We hope they bring joy to some children at Christmas.  I appreciate the support of members of staff at Arnewood who organise this involving  different Year Groups. Elizabeth Cook
