SHOEBOXES 2026
We are, as in previous years, taking part and being a drop off point for Teams4u Shoebox appeal.
Your shoebox will be given to a vulnerable child, or family, through schools, nurseries, hospitals and orphanages. Teams4U’s aim is that each box is given in relationship with the local community as part of a long-term commitment to these children. Please be a part of this ongoing story that is continuing to impact and change lives by donating a shoebox to this year’s appeal!
Like in 2025, this year the shoeboxes will be heading to the Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Bosnia and Romania.
Leaflets will be available at the back of all 3 churches and from the foyer of the church hall/parish office. There are boxes available if you haven’t got any yourself.
The leaflets and boxes will be available from the 20th September 2026.
Cover the shoeboxes in gift wrap. Fill your boxes from the list inside of the leaflets. Put a rubber band around the box. Attach a label to show what sex/age of child is to receive it.
Add a donation of £3.50 to cover transport cost in an envelope or pay online direct to Teams4u. https://teams4u.com/donate
Bring to church by the 15th of November. Shoeboxes can also be taken to the Parish Office in St. Mary Magdalene church hall Monday to Friday 10-12am.
Last year we sent over 120 boxes can we beat this year?
